To Jane's family,

I visited with Jane last Fall. We reminisced about many events from being neighbors on 61st St. I have always been fond of her and have kept in touch with her, mostly by us calling each other. She had a kind heart and I admired her.

I did not learn of her death until I tried to call her a week ago. I was sad to learn she has passed away. I have been sad knowing I wasn't aware of her funeral. I would surely have been there.

I wish the best in healing in the loss of your wonderful Mother.

I WILL MISS YOU ALWAYS!

My mother has been around for oh so long
But her heart and her body are not too strong
She fights the pain most every day
But I fear she is losing and I can only pray.

She has fought for years and was able to win
But I fear she has nothing left within
The doctors are doing the best they can
But her life force is draining like an hour glass with sand.

I'm told the time is very near
My phone in hand so I can hear
When I get that call I can only say
That my faith in God will show me the way.

I will miss my mom so very much
Especially her eyes and her loving touch
I know she's in a better place
But I will miss her always and her loving face.
