I will always remember Mrs. McBride's lovely gardens and her signature manicotti. So many good memories with the McBride family growing up - she was a smart, kind and generous lady. Thinking of you Jules, Patty and Dave and the whole McBride clan.

"Mrs. McBride" will always be a sweet part of my childhood. She made hundreds of sandwiches, caught us more than once breathing on the thermometer trying get it to 70 degrees so she would fill the wading pool, said "yes" dozens of times a day when we asked permission to ride our bikes around the block, and only scolded us a few times for being late to rise Sunday mornings. She was a blessing to all of us. May you find peace in all the happy memories of a life well lived.

My condolences to the McBride family. Losing someone in death is so painful. But we look forward to a time when we can see the loved ones we have lost again. Here is a comforting thought found at 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14.

McBride family,
Jeanne was my babysitter as a young child and I have many delightful memories of her. We lived next to the Jackson family and George delived our milk. I remember Jeanne as a kind, sweet, smart teenager who read many books to me. She was one of the first women I knew who attended college. I did go on to college at Cardinal Stritch and at one time probably lived close to where Jeanne lived in Whitefish Bay/Fox Point. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
RIP, Jeanne.
(Thanks for printing Jeanne's obituary in the Wis. Rapids paper.)
