Our deepest condolences. We are out of town for a wedding and were unable to be there

My prayer is that everyone meets a man like Jerry Martynski; you know immediately the unique personality, a loyal friend for life, a smile that warms an entire room, a man's man, a Marine through and through and my life is better for having known him.
We served together at 8th&I in the famous "63" Silent Drill Team under "Tracks Bill Lee", did the Kennedy Funeral Detail together and other historic events.
My prayers for Donna as she deals with this enormous loss. Semper Fi my friend. Frater Infinitas.

Dear Donna and other members of Jerry's wonderful family. Please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences. Jerry was special and he will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him! For more information about Jerry's assignment at the Marine Barracks, 8th & I, Washington, DC (the oldest active post in the Corps), please visit www.8thandi.com. Rest in peace, Jerry! Well done, Marine!!! God Bless the Martynski Family! ... John T. & Mary Lou Reim, 8th & I, Ceremonial Guard Company, Silent Drill Platoon, 1958-1961 "Semper Fidelis"

Jerry was a "good man," a high compliment to a fellow Marine. We were in the Drill Team together, and 1st Marine Div. In early 65, he and I took a trip to Mexico in my little Sunbeam, attended a bullfight which we didn't like, and were happy to be back in Calif. Served in different theaters in Vietnam, and lost track until our reunion in Dallas, where he was a welcome sight. Met Donna there, and could see that they were devoted to one another - god bless!

Dream the dream the angels my friend.
