Well Jack, it has been four weeks and I am still thinking about all that you did for me going back 40 years. I can't help but think, even in your passing, you were behind the text message chain between TO, TK, and myself. I truly wished we could have talked one last time; hearing that you wanted to reach out to me was very emotional and much needed. I want to say thank you for all that you did for me - you became Dad #2 when my father passed away (some kids don't have or choose not to have one father, I was blessed with two). Then there was the job interview at Astronautics in 1982 which turned out to be the job that steered me into the electrical field and cascaded a chain of events through the years that made me who I am. Most importantly ending up at Johnson Controls for the past 26 years and it is there that I met the love of my life. All of the stories, jokes, sports, going to games are all priceless memories. I remember all of our inside jokes, the best one that I will always keep between us is when we were talking about you meeting TK for the first time and I said I hope he's not another bore - we laughed so hard and got a lot of mileage out of that one. Bless you Jack and may you rest in peace - I am truly a better person for having had you in my life.

Enjoy your sock fights with Bob.

One last thing I need to say

Love you dad.
Your son Jim

He will be missed at our men's condo breakfast group. He shared his humor at Brookdale with other residents. He was a very good man. He was a longtime friend and neighbor. May he Rest In Peace.

I had the pleasure of taking care of Mr. Hornak and his family every Sunday for morning breakfast at Bluemound Gardens for years.

One thing I will always remember is his smile.

My deepest condolences to his entire family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.♥❤

Dear Hornak Family,

I was fortunate to get to know the Hornak family thru my parents and also was fortunate to know Julie and Mary. What a great family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
