To the McDonald family: Somehow we missed hearing of the death of "JP", the grandson of John and Laurel, our good friends from St. Philip Neri. A former fellow parishioner showed up at our church here in Shawano yesterday, and the death of "JP" came up. We were so saddened to hear of such a tragic death of such a young person. We have seven grandchildren, and would be devastated over the loss of any of them. Our prayers are with all of you. May "JP" rest in peace. Love from the entire Van Kirk family.
