My deepest sympathy to the Mrochinski family. I graduated together with Linda in 1971. Even though we were not close in school but I remember her and her nice Polish name.

I worked with Linda in the Marquette financial aid office for several years. At the time she was in charge of the "Sunshine Club" which celebrated employees birthdays once a month. She made sure cards were signed and treats brought in. She was always there to help, and her humor was catching. My condolences to her family.

To the family and friends of Linda Mrochinski:

I knew Linda back in the 80's when she worked at the Marquette Student Financial Aid Office. I was a student worker and she was my boss. Although the time I knew her and the time spent with her happened so many years ago, I still remember her fondly. She was so smart, so quick to make a joke, so extremely artistic, and mostly she was so kind. She made the most delicious cakes when we celebrated birthdays in the office. My family liked her cakes so much that we had her make my sister's wedding cake, my parents' anniversary cake, and, of course, we had her come to the wedding as well. Besides her cakes being perfect, so was her hand-writing. It was like a work of art, calligraphy, so deliberate, so perfect and so pretty. But mostly when I look back on those times so many years ago, I remember her smiles and her kindness. At a point when I was looking for work and there just weren't any jobs available in the office, Linda actually helped to create one for me. She didn't have to do this, but she saw how I was hurting and somehow found a way to help. For this and for so much more, I will always be grateful to her. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I am so sorry for your loss. The world unfortunately is a far less beautiful place without her in it, but I believe that the stars and the heavens above have now become all the more radiant.

Peace be with you,

Anne Fillinger

Linda was my younger sister and will always be remembered as a talented, smart, multi-skilled, hard -working person. I loved her dearly. She gave so much to so many individuals and groups in the Milwaukee area, From the St.Mary's Alumnae Association (which she headed) to theatre groups, societies, and associations where she often served as a Board Member or an administrative volunteer.

She was quiet and often stoic, but at times strong-willed and cleverly snarky. I have known no one like her in my 70 years of life. I hope you all come to her memorial at Max Sass's Chapel at 4747 S. 60th St on Sunday, April 15th (2-4 PM). Make any Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).

From Linda to all of you: Peace!
