Dear Marcia,

You were there when I met my to-be husband, and you told me, in a somewhat "Katherine Hepburn" voice, about how you met your husband, Marvin. You were walking down the street in New York and Marvin, fresh out of the Air Force, stuck his head out the window and said, "Hubba hubba!" Later, you and your sister were in a boat (in Central Park?) and somehow you bumped into Marvin and his brother in a boat. You and his brother switched boats, and the rest was history. You told us that night - with a smile - that on your 50th anniversary, the kids had "hubba hubba" shirts made.

While you told me that story, my husband held your hand, with tears in his eyes. Whenever I saw you after that first day, you reminded me that you were there when I met Abe. It was always so good to see you, and you always will remain in our hearts.

We have a photo of you and Abe and Larry in our home in a frame that says "Family." We were fortunate to have met you, we care for you very much, and we will both miss you.

Thank you, Marcia. ... We're glad you're with your Marvin now and we're glad you are pain-free.

With lots of love,
Abe Mok and Sue Minton
