Ms. Pozorski was my personal favorite and most influential teacher at Green Bay Ave elementary, I was in her class 1979-1980 school year. I can say that she help me realize that my education was very important to succeed in life , she was "Tough" on me but it helped me out a lot. She even took a few of us out to ShowBiz pizza for our birthdays! We definitely could use more teachers like her these days, Me and my family will miss her always "God Bless you Ms.P"

Peggy was more than a vibrant individual with a thriving spirit. She was a teacher to many. Students in her glass were always treated with rules and discipline but they were also given care, love, security and the true sense of feeling that they matter. Peggy went out of her way to help all the students that she encountered day to day for thirty years.
Not only was Peggy involved in the students' lives but Peggy was dedicated to fellow colleagues with her devotion towards working for fairness for all teachers. Peggy stood up for what was right and didn't back down.
As a brand new teacher assigned to John Muir Middle School in 1986, Peggy took me under her wing. She gave me much more than advice that first year. She gave me a ride to and from school every day. As a new teacher with not much money, this helped me out financially~and the conversation was always uplifting. Many times she would just let me take a nap. She would never accept a penny for her graciousness.
Thank you Peggy for all that you've done for us all.
Heaven has a new angel with a lot of gusto.
