Gene and Tom: Your mother was a remarkable woman- strong, resilient and kind. As your "across the street neighbor" who was familiar with your antics (especially Billy on the garage roof), I knew at an early age that your mom had her hands full!
I saw your mom just before her 90th birthday. My parents, Harold and Mavis, and I had a lovely conversation with her. Your mom was looking forward to another trip to Ireland. Your mom's passing marks the end of an era for our old Tosa neighborhood. My sincerest sympathy to you and yours. Pat Vanselow Schwai

There weren't many tough and wise enough to raise three precocious and energetic boys to become fine and good men + run her own import business.
We never made it to Germany. I would have enjoyed being your Fahrer and Reisebegleiter
Maybe next time.
Our condolences to Gene and Tom and their families. Our prayers and thoughts are with your in your time of loss.

I worked with Marie for almost 10 years. Marie was always kind and level-headed, easy to get along with. She was an excellent cook, sharing her recipes and delicious bakery with all of us. Along with our other co-workers Arline and Delia and our boss Don, we maintained our friendship all these years, meeting to go to lunch and catch up on each others' lives. Marie, I will miss you dearly. I know you will celebrate your 100th St. Patrick's Day/Birthday in heaven.
Karla Niessing, co-worker and friend
