HAPPY BIRTHDAY .....LILIES AND DAFFODILL
July 9, 2018
I love my mother dearly. She stood by me with support and prayers during difficult times and with joy and laughter during good times. She love to go out to eat at the Bavarian Cafe in downtown Wauwatosa which she called her city of Joy after the book by that name because she felt fabulously wealthy living in her own apartment with a car in the garage and surrounded by all her knickknacks. Every morning she would wake up and have coffee with Jesus and that him for her children and for another day. And then she would talk to her Fluffy, her beloved dog. She worked as a crossing guard in her retirement and was so beloved by the parents and children because of the seriousness and conscientiousness she cared for the children. And when that got too hard to do she worked as a security officer at the Newport. So from Jefferson Elementary to the Newport where they also loved her to death because of her friendly greetings and concerns she took for their families. She loved her children and grandchildren and went on family reunions with us for 20 years. She was also a painter with a sense of humor and left behind 31 paintings the world deserves to see someday. She loved her sisters and brothers and extended family but especially her dear Barbara Winkler and her family. They were cousins and childhood friends. Mom graduated from Ripon College and went downtown to Chicago where she was head of A book at United Airlines. The when she married my dad she became Vice President of Forest WILSON Design. God made her a promise after the divorce and he kept that promise. Mom is now reunited with her beloved Jesus and family and Fluffy. She lived a good life and I will miss here dearly.
