To Sis. Watson and the entire Grant family,

The loss of a loved one is among the most difficult situations a family can face.
Yet God's Word does offer words of encouragement for those facing the grief associated with the loss of a loved one.
We know that Jesus has experienced and understands what it means to lose a loved one. Isaiah 53:3 prophesied about Him that He is "a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief." So take comfort knowing our Savior knows this type of pain and take to heart He knows how to comfort all.

As I reminisce about Sis. Grant, I hold dear to my heart the countless times at church I would have things on my mind I desired answers too. As soon as I saw her rise from her seat in the sanctuary, I would follow her and after services she would go to the Women's room located off the vestibule and listen to me as I spilled my heart out to her. The wisdom she shared instructed me through my young years and carries me now in my middle years. She never hesitated to give me spiritual wisdom and hugs. I was blessed by God to take my youngest with me to visit her during these last years, while she was living in a retirement home, as I call it, she still knew who I was and told my daughter about some moments we shared. She laughed so hard she had tears rolling down her eyes.

I will always cherish the love she had for me. I love you Sis. Watson and I am praying for you all.
