Pat was my Sergeant at Dist#3E in the 1970's. What a nice, honorable man. R.I.P. My prayers to his family.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Pat on the MPD. I will always remember his smile and friendly demeanor. I will NEVER forget a time when I was off duty on W Burleigh St and had to confront two armed hold up suspects who had just robbed a drug store. As I had one of the suspects on the ground, I could only watch as the other was getting away. As I looked around the first thing I saw was Pat charging out of the grocery store across the street, in pursuit of the fleeing suspect. Within a couple of minutes, Pat apprehended the other suspect. Pat was also off duty. I was always happy to see Pat, but particularly happy to see him that day. Rest in peace Patrick.
