May, Juliann "Junie" 83, of Green Bay and formerly of St. Francis, WI, departed this life on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center with her family by her side. Junie was born on June 1, 1934 in Green Bay, WI, daughter of the late Louis and Lorraine (Lotto) Nowak. When she was in grade school the family relocated to Milwaukee where she resided until just two years ago. She married LeRoy May on October 2, 1954 in Milwaukee and they spent 37 years of marriage together raising their family. LeRoy preceded Junie in death on January 26,1992. She retired after over 25 years of employment with J. C. Penny. In her spare time Junie loved visiting casinos, especially casino bus trips, and visits to Las Vegas. She enjoyed sweets, solving puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered most as a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her three children: Scott (Mary) May, Michele (Mike) Bruecker, and Janet (Tom) Skalecki. She also leaves two sisters: Jeanette Nowak, and Michealin Walters, a sister-in-law, Dawn Nowak, in addition to 5 grandchildren: Eric, Robert, Michael, Joel, and Marcus, 5 great grandchildren, 2 godchildren: Bernie Lotto & Lee "Crunchy" Stahl, special friends, Nancy, Kathy, and the Czarnezki's along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Junie is preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Nowak. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22 from 4 PM - 7 PM, with a Memorial Service at 7:00, at Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. Service will be also be at Sacred Heart Church in St. Francis on Saturday March 24, with visitation from 11 AM to 12:30 PM and mass at 12:30 PM. Junie's family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the 4th floor at Aurora Baycare, along with staff of DaVita Dialysis for the care given to her throughout her final journey.

I worked with Julie at JCPenney. Have many fond memories of Julie and the many lunches and laughs we shared with Cathie. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
