We recently heard from Robert that Sara passed away in February. He was kind enough to send a sympathy card regarding our mother (Martha Pierce) who passed in December. Mom & Dad (Ernest Pierce) so enjoyed their times together with Sara & Buck over many years. Sara even visited Mom here in New Smyrna Beach after Dad passed and periodically called or wrote Mom too. We are so sorry for your loss. Martha & Ernie's kids (Karen Pierce Miller, Janet Pierce Davis & David Pierce)

Aunt Sarah, you were the epitome of grace and wisdom, much like your own mother. A modern day Royal. I cherished our conversations and letters.

We will all miss you dearly (Deary) but you shall always live on in our hearts. Say hi to Chuck for me!
