Simos, Ruth M. (Nee Pascoe) Born to eternal life Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late George Simos. Loving mother of Katherine (Rich) Christensen, the late Mark (Luanne) Simos, Jane (Bill) Simons, Cynthia Simos, Mary (Abs) Mendez and John (fiancee Susie) Simos. Cherished grandma of Aric (Morgan) Christensen, Matthew Christensen, Daniel (Nina) Christensen, Timmy (Lisa) John, Aaron (Michelle) John, Luke (Ticia) Simos, Heather (John) Norton, Elizabeth (Collin) Price, Robert (Alexandra) Simons, Kelly Simons (Chad), Katherine Simons, Shelia Higgins, Ruben Mendez, Nathan (Ericka) Mendez, Seth (Jordan) Mendez and Devin Mueller. Special and dear friend of Mary Beth Hayes. Further survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Memorial Visitation SATURDAY, March 17, 2018 from 10:00-12:00 Noon at THE CHURCH OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION 1023 E. Russell Ave. Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon. Reception to follow. Ruth was the founder of the Humboldt Park Friends. She also was a Past President of the Bayview Historical Society, member of the Bayview Arts Guild, Dancing Grannies of Milwaukee, and was personally awarded the county Senior Citizen of the Year. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staffs of Wheaton Franciscan Hospice; especially Carrie and Tia, and the Meals on Wheels Program for the care and compassion they showed Ruth in her time of need.

I enjoyed working with Ruth on the Bay View Historical Society Board and at the South Shore Farmer's Market.
In fact, the last time I saw her was at the Farmer's Market-vibrant, interested in all life around her.
