My condolences to the family for the loss of a wonderful educator and human being. Most especially, to Garry--my teammate and friend.

Uncle Ed and Aunt Ida Mae will always be in my memories from the Lawrence Cook reunions and the fun at the Lawrence Ox Roasts. Lots of good memories, and may Ed rest in peace. Aunt Janet Jackson notified the Soudek/Jackson side of the Cook family of Ed's passing recently. So I looked up the Obituary and sending our condolences to his family. From a distant second cousin, daughter of Betty Jackson/Soudek (Orpha and Paul Jackson's oldest daughter).

Uncle Ed was a guiding force in my life throughout my childhood years. His faith and his faithfulness was always first and foremost in all things. I loved him for that!

Eddie, I cannot say enough good things about you. You were one of the kindest persons I had the pleasure of knowing. I feel very fortunate that I got to know you through bowling, and appreciated all you did. Every little town in southwest Michigan makes me think of you because there is a good chance we bowled a tournament there, if there was one. You are one of a kind and will be missed. Thank you for the memories
