She grew up on the East side of Kalamazoo, where She attended St. Mary's Catholic Elementary, Northeastern Junior High, and Kalamazoo Central High School. She did not complete her Senior year, as she was chasing other dreams. She proudly earned her Diploma from Parchment in 1983. Rose was a devoted Mother and the Best "Grammie" Ever! she was always devoted to helping others. This was evident in the jobs she worked. She worked a variety of different jobs. Most of her working life was spent around people. She spent many years as a nurses aide, and doing home health care. Her work was not just a job to her. The people she worked with/ for became her family. She was adventurous and had a zest for life! Through many struggles she always came out even stronger than before and with a more powerful testimony. She was such a forgiving person. She went where others wouldn't dare! She did this always with others in mind. She went on a Mission trip to one of the most dangerous places in the world; The Democratic Republic of the Congo. She went on a Mission trip to Jamaica, and she went on a Mission Trip to S. Dakota, where she ministered to the Native Americans. She was involved in other Missions teams, and was an avid Prayer Warrior! I knew her as Rosemary at St. Marys school. She was quiet but always pleasant when you talked with her. One night she got through to WKMI radio request line. She asked to hear Dock in the Bay. She was "star" for a few days in class as a result.
I am sorry for your loss.
