I think of Carroll very often. I agree with the person who commented on her warm and reassuring voice. She was an excellent listener and clearly enjoyed her friends and deeply loved her family. She was a true blessing to me, and I am grateful to have known her.

On the eve of Carroll's passing, I am reminded of her love of children, teaching, and life itself. She had such a warm, kindness to her voice, she was forthright and also a good listener. Her correspondence and pictures were interesting and very helpful. I thank God for the gift of Carroll C. Magnuson.
