Our deepest condolences on the loss of Aunt Dorothy, lovely lady and beautiful soul. She was always so very kind to us upon every encounter, which usually involved some hosting or welcoming. Rest in peace, sweet one.

Dear Brunson Cousins,

We share and feel the loss of our Aunt Dorothy. While words are inadequate, we will attempt to express it. For Greg, she was considered a second mother, and he always enjoyed and appreciated her company and kind gestures his entire life. For Annette, Emily and Chase, we adored her humor, warmth, gift of listening, good conversation and kindness.

Aunt Dorothy was a grower. It seemed that every plant she touched grew well, her children and grandchildren grew well, and her involvement in the development of Collegiate was a part of its success. She took great care down to the detail in everything great and small that we ever witnessed; even in her amazing deviled eggs which were always picture perfect. She was strong and intelligent with opinions that were highly regarded and well worth expressing.

In short, we were much better off having Dorothy Brunson in our lives and will miss her dearly. May God comfort all of the Brunson family during this time of sorrow.

Dear Pam, Karen, and Paul,
So sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing, but we know she is now free of pain and troubles. I recall many years of close friendship with Bill and all of your family, some of the best years of my life. May the Lord be with you in your time of grief. Dale Jewett

To the Brunson family,
I am so sorry for your loss. As a long-time faculty member at Wichita Collegiate School, I remember your mother on our Board of Trustees. She was fully committed to the value of an excellent education. I'm sure you are proud of her part in making Collegiate such a fine school. We are certainly grateful for her vision. I know you will find strength in her memory. May she rest in peace.

Your parents were good friends of my parents, George and Bunny Link. I remember visiting them as a kid. Your mother was so kind and friendly. I am so sorry. You will always miss her, but have such wonderful memories.

Paul & Linda, I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother. May beautiful memories, and the knowledge of your reunion one day, bring you comfort.
