I have good memories of Jay and Nelda from our many years together at Epworth UMC.
My dad, Terry Neal (from Epworth also) moved into Georgetown in Sept. 2017 where Jay and Nelda resided. It was great to see them again. I enjoyed visiting with him when I would come by during the supper hour. He always would say "Hey kid, how are you doing?" and reach out his hand.
We enjoyed sharing our Epworth memories.
Our prayers are with Nelda and family.

We just heard of your father's passing and are so sorry. I have always considered your family as my second family. The memories will live on in our hearts. Much love to all and look forward to seeing you in January. David and Nena Rua

When I read the the obits in today's paper, the name Jay Holt was familiar. Your father and my father were co-workers at Pittsburg in the early 60's. My father, Ralph Livingston, spoke of your father often and with fondness. (Enough that I remembered the name.) Losing a father is tough. My condolences to your family.
