Larry was a friend and a member of the Board of Directors for Families Together for several years. He was a great advocate for himself and others with disabilities in our communities. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Larry was a great friend and made a huge impact on my life. He always had a smile to give and never complained. I know he is enjoying his new freedom. One day he and I are going to sit and talk for hours. Or maybe we'll walk! You will be missed, Larry.

I met Larry when my mother, Virginia Blackburn, was a resident st KMH. They loving called each other as "grandma and grandpa." I don't really know why or how this got started, but I know they were good friends. Because of their friendship, my family was blessed to get to know Larry. He was a wonderful man of God, and was always happy to see us.

I know he is in the presence of our Lord and is no longer confined to his wheelchair, but my heart breaks for his family. My prayers for comfort and peace to each of you.

I knew Larry when I attended Pawnee Ave Church of God. He was a great Man of God. Loved to tease and could cheer you up. He is in a much better place today and it will be great to see him again one day.
