DERBY-Ott, Lloyd Lee age 88, peacefully passed away Friday, December 29, 2017. He was born January 7, 1929 in Rago, Kansas. On August 6, 1950, he married Erna Stucky. Lloyd was a teacher for 31 years. He owned and operated Ott Auto Sales in Cheney and was active in his church and world missions. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, FL and Vera (Bailey) Ott; three brothers, Louie, Lester, and Duane; three sisters, Pauline Kepner, Janice Lowe and Boots Ott. Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Erna; three daughters, Susan (Dan) Heasley, Peggy (Glen) Basler, and Debra (Dustin) Beeson; six grandchildren, Aimee (Ryan), Philip (Kristen), Erin, Andrew (Alyssa), Brandon, and Josh; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Jackson; two brothers, Gail and Gary; and one sister, Janie. Services were held Tuesday, January 2 at Colonial Heights Assembly of God, 5200 S. Broadway, Wichita. A memorial has been established through Colonial Heights for the benefit of World Missions. Llyod worked part time for us at L.C.Jackson Wholesale Furniture .I always will remember the skill he had at selling whether it was cars or furniture . He was a great story teller and everyone of our employees liked him .He certainly will be missed! ----L.C. Jackson III.
