I knew Randy in both professional (work) and soccer (AYSO and KSHSAA) settings. He was known in both for his ethics and desire to question things. Randy coached many of my kids games where I was coaching. I always knew that he might not be the fastest ref on the field, but that Randy would always call a fair game, no matter what the situation. He will be missed.

I knew Randy in both a professional (work) and soccer (both AYSO and KSHSAA) environments. In both he was respected for his ethics and his desire to question things. He ref'd games I coached for my kids up until they stopped playing. He may not have been the fastest person on the field, but you knew you would get a fair call out him no matter the situation.

So sad to hear of Randy's passing. I got to know him by refereeing at the AYSO Wichita area regional tournaments. He was a nice guy and we all appreciate his dedication to AYSO and refereeing. We will miss him.

Randy you were a very special person you made me feel welcome and important ...you always treated me with respect and I valued your friendship. I am so sorry I wasn't there last season And I missed it terribly. Especially seeing you and serving you. The breakfast burrito and a cup of black coffee. The last time we saw each other You gave me a beautiful hug And we cried together. I will truly miss you.

Sad to hear this. Have known Randy a few years now. Randy was always willing to help anyone and had a goal of making soccer enjoyable for kids. I will definitely miss seeing Randy and our talks and joking with him. My condolences and sympathy to his family.

I'm very sad to hear this news. Randy has always been a fixture of the 208 fields and I appreciated his love of the game and willingness to encourage and teach our kids as the played.
