The Major was one fine fellow. I truly appreciated his leadership and fellowship while stationed in Garden City together.

Richard was a good friend and supervisor and an excellent role model for the KHP. He will be missed by many. I still have the drawings he gave me - a reminder of his other talents, besides being a good man. Sgt. Lot Seacat, retired K287

Regina and Family:
For close to 50 years I was acquainted with Richard and always had the utmost respect for his dedication, integrity and professionalism as a member of the KHP. I was so pleased that he and you were able to attend the October reunion in Wichita and we were able to talk on Friday evening. My sincere condolences.

Regina & family,
My deepest condolences to family and friends. I was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I either worked with him or have known him for over 50 years. I have always had the utmost respect and admiration for his professionalism. He will be greatly missed by his friends. I was pleased to see him and have the chance to visit with him at the last Retiree Reunion in Wichita in October. Thanks Regina for assisting him in making this possible.
