When I left my condolence message a couple of days ago I forgot to include my maiden name and I want to include that. As I said, Sheryl and I were very good friends during our early teen years. Our parents knew each other well. My parents had a hardware store in Indian Hills Shopping Center in the 50s through the 70s. Preskorn Gambles Hardware. Sheryl's parents were great people and I remember one year Sheryl went with my family on our Colorado vacation and then later I went on her family vacation to CO. We had a great time and great memories. I went to Mt. Carmel Academy for high school and Sheryl went to Sacred Heart. So, we didn't see other as much during high school. But I always loved Sheryl and I saw her last about 5 years ago when I came to Wichita for a 50th high school reunion. We met at the same location in Indian Hills that used to be my parents' hardware store and is now a restaurant. I have very fond memories of Sheryl, her wonderful parents, Sydney and Sue. Sheryl will always have a special place in my heart. She was very proud of her daughter and husband. My sincere sympathy to you all.

A bit of light for my dear friend.

Sheryl was my first best friend. We spent so much time together in the neighborhood....jacks, Mother May I, Make Me Laugh...just to name a view. I still can't hardly imagine that she is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jerry, Mollie, Sue, Sydney, and all of Sheryl's dear friends. Love to you all.

I received a notice from St. Jude's Church of Sheryl's passing. Sheryl and I were classmates at St. Patrick's. I have seen her off and on over the years at church, at restaurants. She was very talented and whenever I would talk to her and ask about her daughter (I think Mollie was either in my son's class at Bishop Carroll or in one of the classes close to his). Sheryl was very proud of her daughter and all of her accomplishments. I will keep you all (Jerry, Mollie and her sisters and family members) in my prayers.
May God Bless and Keep You All in His Loving Arms at this time and May the Blessed Mother Watch Over and Protect You Always.
With deepest sympathy, Cynthia (Rau) Erker, Wichita, KS

I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Sheryl. We were classmates at St. Patrick's School and close friends during our time there and also during high school. Sheryl and I vacationed together in Colorado with our parents. I have many fond memories of Sheryl. My deepest condolences to her husband and family.
