Greta B. Knickerbocker, 95, of Elburn passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Bria of Geneva. She was born April 30, 1926, in Alton, IL the daughter of Leonard and Estella (Peters) Greding. She was united in marriage to Conrad Knickerbocker October 26, 1968, in Chicago, IL.
Greta loved nature and the country; she and her husband have resided on a farm in the Elburn area for the past forty-five years. Greta had a wonderful personality and enjoyed being with people. She was a natural in sales, who had held several positions with various companies in a sales and promotional role. Her love for all people naturally allowed for her to give time to charity or anyone in need, financially or otherwise. She was a great blessing to her family and friends. Even casual acquaintances were touched by her caring and outgoing nature.
She is survived by her husband Conrad Knickerbocker; three children, Kimberly (Al) Powers, Christopher Knickerbocker, and Robyn (John) Larson; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her; son Zachary Knickerbocker; two grandsons, Matthew, and Aaron Powers; and a brother Robert Greding.
Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Friday, October 15, 2021, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 6:00 P.M.
