Betsy was an amazing woman with a vision and a passion for life. Her vision extended beyond the boundaries of her own life, and reached far and wide to make a difference in the world, and that she did. He desire to be a voice for change never wavered. She embodied the values of social work in every way. She was a loving friend. Though I knew her for only a few years she made it feel as though we had been life long friends. I will miss our talks and messaging but am so thankful for her influence on my life. David, you are a hero in my book. I have never known a man to love and care for a woman with such deep devotion and constant support. May her memory bring you strength. She will forever be the twinkle in your eyes.

Betsy was my boss at Camp Ernst when we were in our teens. I knew then she was going to do great things. She was so polished even as a teenager. Great loss!
