Billy G Wellman was more than a wonderful man he was like another dad to me in the neighborhood. Back when he was Major Wellman our next door neighbor in Ashland he came running with my dad and took over when I had a lawnmower accident at 6 years old which could have changed my life in sports forever but he dropped down and ripped his shirt and put a tourniquet on my leg and started using psychology on me to calm me down while my foot was mangled. He was a wonderful man and used to play basketball with us in the backyard or was always ready to give us kids his time when he had the time. I can't say enough other than I'm glad he is in heaven now with my mother who also really cared for him and his family. That was one man other than Rocky that I can say due to his honesty and hard work Frankfort could never bribe or change him.........MaraBeth, JohnnyBill and Betty my heart is out to you during this period and I love you guys dearly.......Earth again has lost a more than a wonderful man.....
