CRANE Eleanor, 96, passed away Sept 23, 2016. Eleanor was born in Jersey City, NJ on July 1, 1920 and grew up in Detroit, MI where she later met and married the love of her life, Frank Chrzanowski (Crane) on July 5, 1941. To say they had an ideal storybook marriage is an understatement. Their marriage lasted 68 years until Frank passed away in 2010. Frank and Eleanor share their love with two loving and caring children, a son, Gregory (Greg) and a daughter, Dian. They were also extremely proud of their grandson, Scott Crane. Eleanor's home church was St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where under the guidance of Father John Moriarty she found a second family. No amount of thanks and gratitude can be enough for the wonderful staff at Taylor Manor Nursing Home in Versailles, KY where she spent the last year and a half. Visitation will be 10am with a Funeral Mass at 11am on Tue, Sept 27 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Memorial Contributions are suggested to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1730 Summerhill Dr., Lexington, KY 40515 or Taylor Manor Nursing Home, 300 Berry Ave., Versailles, KY 40383.

Dear Crane Family,
Eleanor was full of smiles and laughter most days we met. Such a loving caring soul who made a difference in my life and I'm sure many others she met. I will miss her friendship, yet I'm sure she's still smiling and laughing and enjoying the peaceful presence of heaven. Amen!
