He was born November 21, 1927 in Scott County to the late Lawrence and Lillie Bailey Wells. Pete was a life-time farmer, a member of Gano Baptist Church, a Pioneer Farmer of the Year, and a KY Colonel. Above all else he was a loving and devoted husband, father, papaw Pete, and Christian man. He deeply cared for his sisters and brothers and their families. Wells, and Helen Wells all of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Ruby Minke, Aline Walters, Melvin Wells, and Orville Wells. Pete had exemplary loving care from a very special and devoted extending family of caregivers who's motto was "Pete comes first". Our family would like to especially thank the caring hands of Loretta Centers, Rosanne Short, Lorene Brumley, and Vickie Clark. Pete's family will be forever grateful to these ladies. Additional appreciation to Bluegrass Care Navigators Gold Team. Funeral services are 1pm Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Sherman Ramsey and Rev.
