She was kind, beautiful and smart as a whip. We first met at old U-High in the 1940s, where she was the most popular and lovely girl in the school. Her husband, Teddy, and her family became wonderful friends to me over the years and remained so all her life. I shall always love and miss her.

I met Grandison in 1942 when our fathers were in the Army stationed at Camp Van Dorn, & both our families lived in Natchez, Mississippi. We were friends for 2 years there, & then saw each other a few times after WWII when she & her mother visited Nashville, TN. What is really weird is that today, March 4, I thought of Grandison for the first time in decades, at least, & decided to Google her to see what her life was like. And she had just died! Unreal. Popey, my sympathies.

When I was attending high school at Gulf Park College, Grandison was an Upper Classman....She was so beautiful and polite to all. I have notified the alumni at GPC about this sad day...
