Eden, Kit, Bonnie and family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Hal was such a cool dude. That's how I will remember him. He was my mother's half brother, she always loved and admired him.

My apologizes that I cannot attend services, as I am living in Texas. Steve will be there in my place.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the opportunity to share one of the great adventures in life with Hal. Owning and campaigning a thoroughbred race horse. Fortold was Hal's last winner. I'll see you again on the other side of the wire, cousin.
