For over 40 years I did Lawrence's personal taxes. When I first met him, he was a very intelligent man that I later learned to admire like a father. When his wife passed, and he moved to Fla, I thought he would probably get someone else to do his taxes but they came in the mail year after year while he was there. I'm not sure why he let a 25 yr old do his taxes in the beginning but I hope it was because of the mutual respect that we had for each other. When he moved back, I continued doing his taxes, and his only complaint was that it was too cold here in Kentucky, lol. I was told by his children about his past in WWII and about being a POW. The man lead a remarkable life and I know his family thought the world of him because a lot of us non family folks did too. Farewell Lawrence, and God bless. Dane Poe

Lawrence Wester was a wonderful Father-in-Law. A generous man to his family. He loved his wife "Annie" and his three daughters: Anna Lee, Donna and Laurie.
Lawrence was a WWII POW in Germany and part of the "GREATEST GENERATION". He loved
life, his family, his country. May he rest in peace. John & Cindy Ware
