Dear Rob and Aimee,
Your mom lit up a room with her presence! I am so glad that I knew her, but sorry we lost touch after she moved away. She is someone that I will never forget and I am glad to have known her when I did.
My thoughts are with the two of you!

Linda was a smiling memory from our teaching together at Southern Jr High...especially when she wore a UTennessee football helmet and suit on Halloween! She taught me the correct way to say "Tennessee" with the accent on the first sylable. She will be missed and she was too young to leave us!

To Rob and Amiee- I will always have a smile when I think of your wonderful mother! She had such a vivacious personality with a talent for lighting up the room and making everyone feel like her friend. I have happy memories of when I lived in Knoxville and to my surprise, she was hired as a teachers aide in my kindergarten classroom. We were afraid to tell anyone that we were related to each other for a day or two- afraid they would move her to another school. We had so much fun with those little kids! Linda enjoyed her students and went on to be a fantastic high school teacher! I was heartbroken when I heard she was sick! She has left us way too soon, but Rob and Amiee, your mother touched so many lives with her positive, caring teaching career. She has left a legacy that you can be so proud of!! Love to you both...
