I met Mae in the last handful of years in a new saddlebred organization. I was impressed with how she always focused on others and encouraging them. Her interests also included gardening and bird-watching. I am sad that I did not meet her earlier in my life. I miss our emails. Becky Peck

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Pat (&family) and Kelly. Aunt Mae was a remarkable women with a great smile. Whenever she would come to Baraboo and we would visit she had that way about her that you knew she was truly listening. We know that she is at peace and a little part of her is shining down on us here in Baraboo today.

Mae was our beloved family friend, who was considered "family" by the Hollingers and Homra family. We were blessed to share over 40 years with her. She was the epitome of graciousness, class, kindness, and an unrivaled horsewoman and mentor. She is irreplaceable and will be greatly missed. K.M. Walizer
