Thanks for being there not only for when I was a student but when I was in Vietnam too and I really did not mind you correcting my letters

My favorite teacher at Lafayette, over the years I would think of her fondly and my memories of her Shakespeare class. There is not a student that didn't love her. You were blessed to have her as a mother and grandmother and her students were blessed to have her as a teacher. Class of 1984.

I will always remember Mrs Heaton, she was so kind, she always had a smile on her face! I have 3 favorite teachers, Mrs Heaton is one of those 3! She is one of those special teachers you never forget.

Mrs Heaton was my favorite teacher in the twelve years I went to school. She always had that beautiful smile on her face welcomed every student that walked through her classroom door. I took every class she taught at Lafayette because I loved her that much . Rest in peace Margaret Heaton
