Uncle Mel was the true hero of the Courtney family. . . .
July 14, 2015
To the family and my precious Virginia
It was truly a beautiful blessing to have met you and Mel.I always looked forward to Sunday mornings when I would get to serve at church with Mel and then I met you.You two were a beautiful 'gift from God' to me as a single person.I bet God has Mel meeting and greeting those that arrive in heaven. He was always so warm and friendly and had a fun personality.I loved you two so very much. There are no words to help when your heart is truly breaking.I feel it does break, I know, when my mom that was everything to me passed. But the love of our precious God, family and friends do help. You still have that hole.Cry all that you want, I love that precious verse that says he catches each and every one of our tears and gives them back to you in blessings.God and I love you very much.
