I first met Tom over 30 years ago when he volunteered to work with me as a camera operator for the Southland TV production of our church's worship services. He developed an incredible eye and ability to recognize and film his unique observations of people with the TV camera. He was very enjoyable to be with and he had a great sense of humor sharing his observations of human behavior. My mind thinks of countless times I would hear his voice over the headset saying "look at this" and seeing what he saw that was so interesting as he filmed people in their precious time of worship. Tom loved his work and the travel it sometimes took him, he was devoted to his wife and family and he really loved the Lord. He loved life and people and I so loved working with Tom on the television productions. God only knows how many people he impacted in his life, not just in his daily activities with his work and family, but also showing thousands of people each week watching "The Southland Hour" what a special privilege and joy it is to worship the Lord. Now he is enjoying being with Jesus. What an awesome experience that is for him. Thank you, Tom, for all the joy you gave us with your life.
