I thought a lot of Mrs. Stewart and enjoyed getting to know her. I worked in a clothing store in Cynthiana that she would come and shop at and always enjoyed the conversation and stories she would share with me. She was a wonderful and kind lady.

Neighbor - a person who shows kindliness or helpfulness towards others. John and Mildred Stewart were the definition of being good and loyal neighbors for so many years on Battle Grove. Her flower gardens were always beautiful and the tomato competition each summer between she and my father was legendary. Will miss visiting with her at Taylor Manor.

Mildred, the undisputed Queen of Battle Grove for oh so many years. Always quite the lady that had such an elegance and eloquence that we all so enjoyed. Loved her entertaining stories and will always warmly remember the sight of her in her sun bonnet out in the yard so faithfully tending to her flowers and vegetables. We extend our sympathy to Mildred's family and ask that God bless them and Mildred-can't help but imagine Mildred respectfully "suggesting" her gardening secrets to heavens flower garden keepers-and if they are smart then will listen.

Such a wonderful woman that left a mark on everyone she came in contact with. To both my old friends Susan and Alice please accept my condolences. I had a great respect for both of your parents.
