Norman Chrisman served the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival for many years. I knew him as President of the Board of Directors and my mentor when I served as General Chairman. His support, understanding and kindness were invaluable to me and all those involved with KMLF. I am grateful for his continuing friendship as he attended the Festival as long as his health allowed. His legacy will long continue in many ways as he invested his life in people and provided great, wise counsel. He will always be missed but particularly during the last weekend in May when Kentucky comes to celebrate the blooming of the laurel in Pineville.

The kindest and most considerate man that I have know
March 8, 2016
Norman was the kindest and most caring of men. He loved the work of the Presbyterian Child Welfare Agency and demonstrated that affection at every opportunity. He was a wonderful human being, a committed Board Member and one of the best listeners I have ever met. Charles L. Baker, Retired CEO, Presbyterian Child Welfare Agency
