Jeanetta Sanders Obituary

LANCASTER - Jeanetta Layton Sanders, widow of George Burton Sanders passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Christian Care Center in Lancaster. She was born on February 23, 1927 in the Nina Ridge area of Garrard County to the late William and Bessie Layton. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an active member of PTA, homemakers, and Senior Citizens.Jeanetta was a long time member of Freedom Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter Patricia Sanders Stone and Son In Law Carlisle Stone; a granddaughter Deborah Elaine Stone Cook and Husband Douglas, and one great-grandson which she adored Caleb Colt Cook.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Dowell Layton. Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8pm. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
