WILCOX Zola Houston, 74, wife of David Gene Wilcox, Passed away Sat. Dec. 2, 2017. Born in Knott Co., KY she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Polly Anna Houston. Zola was a graduate from Hazard High School and Louisville General Hospital X-Ray School. Her survivors include her husband; her sister, Alice (Joe) Nichols; three sons, John Wilcox, Jeff (Lisa) Wilcox, and Joe Wilcox; one daughter, Jennifer (Bill) Houlihan; eight grandchildren, niece, Beth Siesel; and nephew, Joe Nichols. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dr. Laura Houston; and one granddaughter, Anna Rae Houlihan. Zola was a resident of Lexington Country Place and her family would like to give thanks for their kind and wonderful caregivers. A funeral service will be held 2:30 PM Mon., Dec. 4, 2017 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 PM Mon. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans Ln Ste 401, Louisville, KY 40205-3284.
