VERSAILLES -Donald Fox Ward, 69, of Evansville, IN, formerly of Hazard and Richmond, an Industrial Engineer, Vice President and partner of Azimuth Plastic Extrusions, LLC in Evansville, died Thurs., Feb. 4. Born in Hazard, he was the second of four sons of Hazel F. Ward of Versailles and the late Judge Don A. Ward. Don was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville. He graduated from Hazard High School, attended Georgetown College, Union College, and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BS in Chemistry and minor in Physics. He was a member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge #25. Survivors in addition to his mother include two sons, Don Fox (Vickie) Ward of Anderson Co., David A. (Jenny) Ward of Lexington, six grandchildren, Matthew Ward of Evansville, Wilson Ward, Jeremy Ward, Joe Decker Ward, Miriam Ward, and Victoria Brooke Collins, all of Lexington, two brothers, Sam M. (Pam) Ward of Louisville, J. Steve (Carol) Ward of Versailles, and his companion, Millie Dee Stevens of Hazard. He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Richard C. Ward and sister-in-law, Karen. Visitation will be from 4-8:00pm, Wed., Feb. 10 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11am, Thurs., with Rev. Coy Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery. Memorials are encouraged to the American Lung Association or American Heart Association. Guestbook available online at www.BlackburnandWard.com

Please accept my condolences for your son Don. I well remember your wonderful, loving family from years ago as the social worker from Hospice that was honored to care for the elder Don Ward. It has been years but I wanted you to know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
