Someday, when I'll follow you, I you can confirm, that your last weeks here on earth were your best...

See you then.

I remember her well from her show Earth 2. It is always a shame for one so young to pass on. But at least she was given the gift of years she may have otherwise not had from her heart donor. I have no doubt she made the most of them.

I'm thinking about her today, 5 years after her death I still can not believe it, if she were alive would meet 27 years on Friday, and it is sad to remember.

I always take a few minutes in my quietest days to think about her, especially she and I exchanged some emails two months before his death, her was very excited about wedding and all good things she wanted to do, then I said I wanted to get know personally, and her response was ¡that's is sure!
I learn a lot from her about the happiness and positive life despite the difficulties, I was taught a great lesson life. She is always in my heart.

My friend had started watching Earth 2 and I told him how I remember watching every episode of that. So I got curious as to what most of the great actors were doing now. I was a bit shocked and heart broken to hear Madison had passed.

My beliefs tell me that she did what she was put here for. To plant a seed in someone or many. To inspire. I truly believe that when it was her time to she moved on to a glorious place where the problems and stresses of the world don't exist.

There will be a reunion of that you can be sure.

Her love, her way of living life and bring peace to the hearts of those most needy has changed my life own.

I do not met her in person, but I know that I will to see her again in the paradise, because: "Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26

I actually heard about Maddie's death over a year ago, but everytime I tried to express my sympathy I found myself at a loss for words.
What does one say about the loss of someone so young and sweet and bright and beautiful (inside and out)?
I worked at the Earth2 Convention in New Mexico in April 1995. One of my most treasured memories are of spending time with Maddie and Victoria, and Joey Zimmerman.
Sunday morning I was in the Guest Suite when there was a knock at the door. I opened it...and 3 small figures launched themselves at me! I stood there with Maddie's arms wrapped around me on one side, Joey's arms wrapped around me on the other side, and Tory (being a little smaller) with her arms wrapped around my knees! Kat and Melissa stood there smiling and one of them said "Oh, how sweet!" I wish I had a picture of that moment. It is my favourite memory of that incredible weekend.
I wrote to Maddie when she was in hospital and spoke to her a couple of times after her surgery. She was cheerful and upbeat, and very appreciative of all the support from friends.
I only knew her a short time but I will miss her. She was a very special young lady.

I was so saddened to find out that J. Madison Wright Morris had passed away. I was watching Shiloh just yesterday, March 2, 2008 and recognized "Sam". I went straight to the internet because growing up I watched Earth 2 and wondered why I hadn't seen such a talented actress on anything else. I was shocked to see that she had passed. My girls are ages 9 and 6 and really enjoyed watching her. My 9 year old wants to get into acting and when she heard that J. Madison would have taught at George Rogers Clark high school, she was even more saddened. She told her father, who attended GRC that she would have loved to have her as a teacher. I am so sorry for your loss. I own ER dvd's and I am going to watch her episode today. I have Crohn's Disease, so I know she received the best care in Lexington. I myself was at St. Joeseph Hospital. I once again am deeply sorry. By the way my oldest daughter is named Madison. She will always know now that she shares a name with a beautiful, wonderful woman.

This is Sydnni Olah from California, and I was a friend of Jessica's when we were little.
I remember coming over to play with her and Tori, and I never forgot about the times I shared with them even though we had since parted ways. When Melissa contacted my mom a few years back and told us about all of the hard times Jessica was going through, she never left my prayers. My love goes out to Scott, Melissa, my friend Tori, her little brothers whom I never got to meet, and I will always have Jessica in my heart, memories, and prayers. I know that she is finding true happiness with God, and one day I look forward to seeing her again there.

All my love.

Dear Scott and Melissa;
I don't know if this note will find you, but I know that somehow God will let you hear our prayers. My daughter Sydnni and I knew you many years ago when we were all just struggling young people in LA--a place where faith and good friends can sometimes be hard to find. Our girls found friendship in each other, and so did we. We will not forget the many long afternoons and evenings spent laughing together and sharing stories and watching as little Jessica and Victoria began to grow. As Syd and I looked through these pictures, it was an amazing journey through the past and present to see what beautiful women they both became. Our love and thoughts go out to you all--know that Jessica will live forever in our memories--swimming, playing cards and basketball outside with the "guys" and playing Barbies and singing, just us girls! You will always be dear friends and blessings...
With Love,
Missie, Sydnni and "baby" Ian, too!

I just found out that J. Madison Wright passed up to God. I was very fortunate to be able to meet her in 1996 and while she was at the Cleveland Clinic near Christmas of 2000 talk to her on the phone. I lived only 20 minutes away. She was a very gracious young woman and a very positive one.
When a young life is taken away we wonder why? But what we need to think is live every moment like you may not be here tomorrow and make sure that life is leading you towards God. We are all saddened by the loss Madison but we should be happy she is with Our Lord in Heaven.

February 22, 2007

I was always a fan of Madison in her contributions as a gifted young actress to "Earth 2" and other various television and film roles. A few years ago I learned of Madison's heart condition when I read her biography page at the Internet Movie Database. Periodically I would re-check the IMDb to see if she were all right, and for several years she seemed to be, so I stopped worrying. Today, January 22, 2007, I checked the IMDb again and was shocked and saddened to learn of this beautiful child's -- and beautiful adult's -- death. Through the search engine Google, I have spent several hours researching her last years, and I was further saddened to learn about her future career, now ended by death, as a high-school English teacher, and about her all-too-short marriage to a medical student, who I have no doubt is a fine young man who now lives with unutterable loss. While researching, I also learned about Madison the person, not just Madison the child actress -- of her sweetness, her humanitarianism, her inner beauty that far outshone her obvious outer beauty. I am awash in grief and weeping as I write this. Such an unfair turn of events for dear Madison. Some people say there's no heaven, and sometimes I've had doubts in my occasional crises of faith. But I hope there is a heaven, I truly do, because if any one person ever deserved to spend eternity there, it is Madison. My profound sympathies to her family. I will never, ever forget her.

I didn't know Madison, but I loved her on Earth 2. I'm so sorry for your loss; she seemed like a beautiful person both inside and out. I am very sad to hear about the lost of Madison. She was a great actress. I had the privilege of spending some time with her on the Set of Earth 2. We are both the same age and my grandfather and father were working on the movie at that time. Madison had the motivation to do anything, when she was bored there was something she was coming up with. I remember playing Hide-and-go-seek with her on the set along with Joey Zimmerman, her stand in joined us every once in a while. Rest in peace Madison and my prayers are with your family and friends. I

am deeply saddened by the news of Madison's death. While I only knew

Madison as a nine-year-old child, when we worked together on the play

"Really Rosie," I remeber her as a wonderful individual. Not only did

she have amazing talent and beauty, but she also had a special quality that

is difficult to put into words. She could light up the room with her

smile. She was clearly a very special person, and I have thought about

her many times over the years. From reading through this guestbook I

can see that she was not only a very special child, but she grew into a

very special woman, and continued to enrich the lives of those who knew

her, with her many accomplishments.

My thoughts are with Melissa, Scott, Tori, and her brothers and her

I was the production sound mixer on the set of Earth 2. I still have the picture coffee mug that Maddy and Tori gave us for Christmas. I sits on my desk holding pens as it has for many many years. I had heard of Maddy's health problems only a short time ago after working with one of the on set teachers from Earth 2 while on another show. I just read of her passing this morning and it saddens me greatly. My fondest memory of her is from the Earth 2 set. Due to the extreme weather conditions in New Mexico, I had built all of my sound recording equipment into the back of a pick up truck to protect it. On day I was away from the truck and on the set. All of the equipment was turned off and I was talking to the boom man, David, who was wearing his headphones half on. While he and I spoke, his expression changed and he put his hand to his headphone to hear more clearly. "Someone just powered us up." He told me in a concerned voice. I told him that wasn't possible. It was a whole systematic procedure to do this. David's face broke into a smile. "Its Madison and she's talking to me on the com line." We both agreed that the kid was pretty darn smart.
