Mary Betty Morrison, 90, wife of Raymond Morrison, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. She was born April 16, 1927 in Scott County, KY to the late Chester Cole and Fannie Jones Linville. She was a member of Oxford Christian Church, and she was involved in many civic activities such as Scott County Home Makers, Scott County Womans Club, Georgetown Community Hospital Auxiliary, and Georgetown College Womans Association. Mary Betty served as a former Sunday school teacher and church Deacon over the years. Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Lee (Lucy) Morrison of Dry Ridge, KY and Linda Kay (Don) Hall of Louisville, KY, grandchildren, Cole Morrison, Katy Morrison, Aaron Christy, and Zachery Christy. Mary Betty is preceded in death by her brothers, James Linville and Alva Linville, and her sisters, Edith Foster, Edna Garnett, and Anna Bell Linville. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 27, at Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral Home. Services will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 28, at the funeral home with Reverend Eddie Parker officiating. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Jim Swinford, Charlie Garnett, Doug Michaels, Billy Linville, Bill Swinford, and Michael Bain; honorary pallbearers, Bob Owsley, Bobby Stakelin, Glenn Henderson, Randy Polly, Laurette Summers, Cole Morrison, Katy Morrison, Aaron Christy, Zachery Christy, and Nick Hall.
