Sandy was the sweetest neighbor and I am so sad to hear of her passing. She loved her grandkids and role us about them so often. Prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I have known Sandy virtually all of my life and am so sad to hear that she passed. The Shapiro family became neighbors when I was 6 or 7, when Paul and my father became law partners in Benton, Kentucky. Sandy and my mother became close friends and Scott and Cindy and I became close friends. Sandy was a wonderful mother, always welcoming the entire Merrywood gang into her home. She was also an excellent nurse, checking on me when I was sick, and administering allergy shots to me several times a week. Although I didn't see her often as an adult, she always had a smile on her face and was so positive. She loved her Country and those less fortunate. She was a beautiful person both inside & out and made this world a better place. I am so proud to have known her.

Scott and Cynthia I am so sorry I didn't know in time to attend the service. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

We love you,
Beth

I knew Sandy virtually all my life. When I was 6 or 7, the Shapiro's became our neighbors in Benton, Kentucky. Paul became my father's law partner and Sandy and my mother became good friends. I spent many hours at the Shapiro home as Scott and Cindy were also good friends. Sandy was a fantastic mother and an excellent nurse. She often would check on me when I was sick and gave me allergy shots as a child. Sandy cared deeply for her Country and others who were less fortunate. Although I didn't have the pleasure of seeing her often as an adult, when I did see her, she always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Sandy was a beautiful person both inside and out. She certainly made her mark on this earth and will be so missed.
Scott and Cindy, mom and I just learned of her passing and would have been at the service this morning had we known sooner. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
We love you,
Beth Lewis Maze
