To the Moyer Family,

On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Carlton's passing. We grieve with you on the death of your loved one and our shipmate. The SUBVETS will have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Carlton, who earned his 'fish' when he qualified on submarines during WWII, will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin, a member of our Greatest Generation, and a great Patriot. BRAVO ZULU SHIPMATE!!

Carl was a force of dignity and values. You knew what he stood for and he would stand with you through any one of life's storms. His zest for life and his inquisitive nature were inspirational. I am better for having known him and I will miss his energy. RIP
