I didnt know Dr. Hoepfner except in passing bit I could tell he was very kind. And I know his last days were difficult and for that I am sorry and saddened.
I lost my own husband to cancer and it is a difficult burden to bear....my thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Kindly, cheryl kapalka

Dr. Hoepfner saved my life. I know I'm only one of many who can say that, but I've had only one major surgery in my life and he performed it. On my follow-up visit, an experience that showed me how busy and hardworking his days were, Dr. Hoepfner was exceptionally kind and informative, letting me know the details of my biopsy and how close my situation was to something markedly more serious. Despite what was clearly a difficult day for him, he treated me with courtesy and care and he put my mind at ease, something I very much needed during recovery. I was especially gratified to shake his hand and thank him for his care and expertise.

I was saddened to learn of his passing, but I am forever grateful to Dr. Hoepfner for helping me and what must be thousands of other fortunate patients. I wish comfort and strength to all his loved ones and anyone else lucky enough to know him as Mark.
