I've so enjoyed my time spent with my cousin Steve. He has a sure faith in God, a great heart, and a smile for everyone. I will miss our meals, music jams, pool shooting, and golf excursions during his summer visits to Washington each year. Remember, though death comes, LOVE NEVER GOES AWAY.

I'm so sad to hear this. I knew Steve pretty well back when he was at Olympic College. We scrapped our way through Raleigh McVickers' music theory program for two years. We spent a lot of time swapping celebrity impressions (he had the _best_ Cary Grant) and singing Beatles tunes in the music department lounge. We collaborated on some songwriting a couple years after that. I hadn't seen Steve since the late 80s but we reconnected on FB in recent years. Steve always had such a positive, cheerful outlook, even when times were tough. Here's a photo of the two of us at a recording studio in Olympia around 1985.
