Barbara aka Mom, was the sweetest most generous woman my daughter Lauren and I have ever met! She loved her son and others more than she loved herself! She inspired me and my daughter in so many ways, about history, you know she worked on the Manhattan Project, was an enthusiast about collecting 17th Century Renaissance furniture, paintings, decor, lamps etc. She knew every piece she had, the artist, brand name, year it was produced and where and when she purchased it. Because of her, my daughter has a love for history at the age of eleven. Because of her I acquired my bachelor degree at the age of fifty, and have learned to love unconditionally. She is so missed by us. She was a strong woman in her time and pursued whatever she wanted to, even though she was a woman and taught me that I can do that too, never give up your hopes, dreams or what makes you happy, is what she would tell me. Love her, with tears flowing, I'm glad she has her wings, but the selfish side wishes she was still here to share one more story with me, her laughter, and a hot bowl of chicken and dumplings. Love her always; she will live in our hearts forever!
